Stop Sex & Human Trafficking

Effective Date: June 1, 2026   |   Last Updated: June 1, 2026

MeetPositives.com is operated by Positive Group LLC. We have zero tolerance for sex trafficking, sexual exploitation, or any use of this Platform to facilitate harm to any person. This page describes our policies, our prohibition on trafficking-related conduct, how to recognize warning signs, and how to report concerns.

1. Our Zero-Tolerance Policy

It is a violation of our Terms of Service and Community Guidelines, and may constitute a federal crime, to use MeetPositives to:

  • Recruit, harbor, transport, provide, obtain, or maintain a person for the purpose of a commercial sex act through force, fraud, or coercion
  • Advertise, solicit, or facilitate the prostitution or commercial sexual exploitation of any person
  • Exploit any person — including minors — through any means on or facilitated through this Platform
  • Attempt, conspire, or assist any of the above

Any account found to be engaged in the above conduct will be immediately and permanently banned and reported to law enforcement. We cooperate fully with federal and state authorities investigating trafficking-related offenses.

2. Federal Law: FOSTA-SESTA

The Allow States and Victims to Fight Online Sex Trafficking Act (FOSTA-SESTA), signed into law on April 11, 2018 (Pub. L. 115-164), amended the Communications Decency Act and federal criminal law (18 U.S.C. § 2421A) to hold online platforms accountable for knowingly facilitating sex trafficking.

MeetPositives takes this law seriously. We:

  • Actively moderate content and accounts for signs of trafficking or exploitation
  • Respond promptly to reports of suspicious activity
  • Cooperate with law enforcement investigations under our Law Enforcement & Safety Requests policy
  • Do not permit content that promotes, facilitates, or advertises commercial sex acts

Nothing in our platform is designed, intended, or permitted to be used to facilitate trafficking or sexual exploitation.

3. Recognizing Warning Signs

Sex trafficking can occur in online dating contexts. Common warning signs include:

Signs a profile may be connected to trafficking:

  • Immediate requests to move to external messaging apps outside the Platform
  • Requests for money, gift cards, or financial assistance shortly after connecting
  • Profiles that seem scripted, use excessive flattery, or avoid direct questions
  • Requests to meet in isolated locations, or pressure to meet quickly
  • Mentions of controlling third parties, "managers," or people "helping" manage their accounts
  • Explicit offers of or requests for commercial sex acts
  • Inconsistencies between photos and profile information

Signs someone you are communicating with may be a victim:

  • Appears fearful, anxious, or controlled by another person
  • Is not in control of their own identification, phone, or finances
  • Has been moved frequently and is unfamiliar with their location
  • Mentions a "boyfriend," "sponsor," or third party who facilitates their encounters

If something feels wrong, trust your instincts. You are not required to be certain before making a report. Our moderation team reviews every report.

4. How to Report

On the Platform: Use the 3-dot menu → Report Profile feature on any member's profile. Select the reason that best describes your concern. Our moderation team reviews all reports and escalates trafficking-related concerns to law enforcement.

To MeetPositives directly: Submit a detailed report at support.meetpositives.com. Include as much information as possible: username, any messages, profile screenshots, and a description of your concern.

5. What Happens After You Report

When we receive a trafficking or exploitation report, we:

  1. Immediately review the reported account and any associated content
  2. Suspend the account pending investigation if there is credible cause for concern
  3. Preserve records that may be relevant to law enforcement
  4. Report to authorities — including the NCMEC CyberTipline when any content involving minors is identified
  5. Cooperate with investigations by providing records under valid legal process

We do not alert reported accounts to the existence of an investigation while law enforcement review is pending.
