Reporting & Blocking for MeetPositives.com

Reporting & Blocking

Your safety and comfort matter. Meet Positives provides reporting and blocking tools so you can take control of your experience, limit unwanted contact, and help keep the community respectful.

If you are in immediate danger or believe someone may be at risk, please contact your local emergency services right away.

Blocking a Member

Blocking is the fastest way to stop someone from contacting you. When you block a member:

  • They can no longer message you
  • Your profile may no longer be visible to them (depending on platform settings)
  • You can continue using Meet Positives without interacting with that person

If you feel uncomfortable for any reason, trust your instincts and block the user.

Reporting a Member or Content

Reporting helps our Trust & Safety team review behavior or content that may violate our Community Guidelines or Content Policy.

You can report a member or content when you see:

  • Harassment, threats, hate speech, or abusive language
  • Scams, suspicious requests for money, or attempts to move conversations off-platform for unsafe reasons
  • Fake or misleading profiles, impersonation, or deceptive behavior
  • Non-consensual, explicit, or inappropriate content
  • Spam, solicitation, or advertising

If you're unsure whether something should be reported, it's okay to report it. Our team will review the situation.

What Information to Include in a Report

When submitting a report, include as much detail as possible. Helpful information includes:

  • The member's username (or profile name)
  • What happened and when it occurred
  • Relevant messages or screenshots (if available)
  • Any other information that helps explain your concern

The more detail you can provide, the faster and more accurately we can review your report.

What Happens After You Report

Reports are reviewed using a combination of automated checks, user-provided context, and, when needed, manual review by our Trust & Safety team.

Depending on the situation, we may take actions such as:

  • Removing content
  • Issuing warnings
  • Restricting account features
  • Suspending or removing an account

To protect privacy and safety, we may not be able to share the specific outcome of every report.
